Iceolation Landscapes

A series of contrived and observed landscapes captured across the globe reveals the surreal beauty of our planet. From the mirror-like expanse of Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia to the ice sculptures of Harbin 哈尔滨 in northern China, fire and ice collide in visually striking juxtapositions.

These surrealist vistas challenge perception, playing with scale and illusion to evoke a dreamlike sense of wonder. In the remote reaches of Ushuaia and Bariloche in Argentina, and the snow-capped peaks of Shangri-La 香格里拉, China, nature’s grandeur is on full display, remote and immense. Lonely human figures dot the landscapes of the Gower Peninsula in Wales and the rugged coastlines of Polzeath, England, adding a poignant contrast between human fragility and the drama of the natural world. Meanwhile, the tropics of Bali and Thailand offer another serenity. Together, these locations form a cinematic narrative that celebrates the vastness of Earth’s most striking environments.
